Stefan Sarles has practiced law for over 19 years in the US and the UK. Stefan Sarles focuses on offering value to his clients by offering "novel" ideas such as fixed fees, working to a budget and actually listening to his clients before offering solutions.
Stefan regularly works with other professionals, including potential competitors, to offer his clients a cost-effective service. Given his flexibility and wide experiences, he is often brought into the very early stages of structuring transactions and business decisions.
Stefan Sarles has an extensive background in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and general business transactions, including intellectual property licensing transactions and general IP/IT legal work. He also advises on the expansion of UK and European businesses to the U.S.
Stefan Sarles worked with Mayer Brown in Chicago from 1990 to 1994, then in the London office until 1999. Before starting his own firm in 2003, Stefan was the Managing Partner of the London office of Fredrikson & Byron, a 240 lawyer US law firm headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Stefan received a B.S. with distinction from the University of Wisconsin and received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. |
